Residency Requirements
The parent (s) or legal guardian (s) of a student seeking to enroll in the Webster County School District must provide this school district with at least two (2) of the following documents as verification of their address. All proofs of residence must show the parent/legal guardian’s name and address and must be dated in the current school year. A document with a P.O. Box will not be accepted.
- Mortgage documents or property deed and filed Homestead Exemption Application form for that property.
- Apartment or home lease/rent
- Utility bill (electric, water, gas, trash)
- Driver’s license
- Voter precinct identification
- Automobile registration
Returning Students
Parents of every returning student will provide proofs of residency on a yearly basis in order to complete the registration process. This is a requirement of the Webster County School District in order to comply with regulations of The Office of the State Auditor. With the exception of students whose parent/legal guardian is an employee of Webster County School District, all students must meet the residency and verification requirements.
